As a species we’ve hit peak uselessness. We’re over reliant on tech, convenience and comfort and mostly possess the survival skills of a Dodo. When Channel 4 launched a new reality show called Apocalypse, promoting the show gave us the perfect reason to lean into the darkly humorous truth of how hopeless us ordinary folk might be in the end of days. In films and gaming we’re used to seeing people transform into bad ass mo-fo’s but this is a reality show, so we wanted to get closer to the truth and find the funny in our probable demise.
